Defect - If the product is not used in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions, a child may be able to pull the sensor mat cord into the cot, resulting in a possible strangulation hazard.

Hazard - If the cord is pulled into the cot, it may become wrapped around the child's neck and pose a risk of strangulation.

What to do - Consumers should immediately make sure cords are placed out of reach of the child. Parents or carers should also ensure that the units are installed as per the instructions.
